The Defence Innovation Partnership offers Collaborative Research Funds to support defence-relevant innovation and collaboration across government, industry and academia. These funds are available for projects that best meet the Defence Innovation Partnership criteria for desirability, viability and feasibility.

The Defence Innovation Partnership also provides advice on grants and other funding opportunities that may be relevant to your business, invention or research project. 

The Defence Innovation Partnership offers Collaborative Research Funds of up to $150,000 to support genuine collaboration across Government, Universities and Industry as a catalyst for defence-relevant innovation and invention.

The Artificial Intelligence for Decision Making Initiative (the Initiative) is a collaborative project between the Office of National Intelligence (ONI) and the Defence Science and Technology (DST) Group, to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) expertise and capability in areas of significant importance to the Australian defence and national security community. Individuals are invited to apply their skill and expertise to solve one of 23 AI and ML research and development related challenges.
